Renaissance Samajik Sangha (Renaissance social organisation), Renaissance Khyira O Juba Sanga and Renaissance Gono Gronthagar with the support of Upazila Fisheries Office jointly arranged a training programme for unemployed youths and fishermen on fish farming at Senbagh upazila in Noakhali.
The inaugural ceremony of the training programme was held at Bizbagh of upazila recently. The programme was taken on the occasion of the National Fisheries Week-2021 which began on August 28.
Upazila Fisheries Officer Manosh Mandal attended the function as the chief guest with adviser of Renaissance Samajik Sangha Shah Alam BSc in the chair. Founding president of the organisation Md Fokhrul Islam moderated the event, while its current general secretary Yeakub Mamun and Md Saiful Islam spoke on the occasion, among others.
Manosh Mandal in his speech said, “This year the theme of the National Fisheries Week-2021 is ‘Cultivate more fish, reduce unemployment’. So, we are giving importance to unemployed youths in fish cultivation.”
He called upon the unemployed youths to engage them in fish cultivation, which can help them in achieving solvency.
He thanked the Renaissance Samajik Sangha for taking such programme.
