Training on improved varieties and production techniques of Edible Root crop was held in Kishoreganj on Saturday (September 3) morning. Gazipur BARI Kandal Crop Research Center and Kishoreganj Field Research Department organized this training to finance the program to strengthen food and nutrition security through research, technology innovation and development of improved varieties, rich in the gene pool of Edible Root crops. 30 farmers from Kishoreganj Sadar and Karimganj upazilas participated in the training in the seminar room of the Surface Research Department.
