Cox's Bazar district police have launched a training program for e-bike drivers to create a safe and traffic-free environment for tourists, the. The initiative aims to provide a smoother and safer experience for visitors to the popular tourist destination.
In collaboration with the UNDP, the Cox's Bazar district police will conduct a series of training sessions for e-bike drivers on traffic rules and regulations. These sessions will take place in phases, with plans to eventually train all e-bike drivers in the area.
The inauguration of the training program took place on Tuesday morning at the Cox’s Bazar Police Line drill shed. The Chief Guest for the event was Mohammad Rehmat Ullah, the Superintendent of Police for Cox’s Bazar.
During the opening ceremony, Superintendent Mohammad Rehmat Ullah said Cox’s Bazar is a tourist city, home to a major railway station, a bus terminal, and an airport.
