Restriction has been imposed on vehicular movement inside the Dhaka cantonment on November 21, marking the Armed Forces Day, according to a press release of Inter-Serviced of Public Relations (ISPR).
It said various events will take place inside Dhaka Cantonment marking the day.
The movement will be restricted in the area from 7:00am to 11:00am and 12P:00pm to 7:00pm, according to a notification issued by on Saturday.
ISPR has requested all vehicles -- except those carrying invited guests and personnel stationed at the cantonment -- to avoid the Shaheed Jahangir Gate to the Staff Road during the period and urged the commuters to plan alternate routes and avoid travelling through the cantonment area.
The restriction was imposed to keep the streets inside the cantonment free from traffic congestion, the notification added.
