A colorful rally and awareness street rally has been held in Kishoreganj on the occasion of Traffic Service Week at the initiative of Traffic Department and District Police on Wednesday. A colorful rally was held at the Police Super Office on the occasion. The rally ended at the Battala intersection of the Gaital police outpost after going around the city's main thoroughfares. Later an awareness meeting was held there. Traffic Inspector Md. Shahjahan presided over the meeting. Police Super Mashrukur Rahman Khaled BPM (Bar) was attended as chief guest.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Golam Mostafa, Additional Police Sper (Crime) Nura Alam, General Secretary of District Branch of Community Policing Committee Journalist Saiful Haque Mollah Dulu, Kishoreganj Road Transport Owners Association Convener Lelin Raihan Shuvro Shaheen spoke on the occasion and others.
Additional Police Super (Administration) Mustaq Sarkar, Additional Police Super (DSB) Anirban Chowdhury, Additional Police Super Al Amin, Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Dawood, DB in-charge Rafiqul Islam, Traffic Incharge (Administration) Shahjahan Mia, Inter-District Bus Terminal Convener Khaled Bhuiyan, District Motor Vehicle Workers Union General Secretary Zahirul Islam and other transport owners and workers were present.
At the end of the rally, awareness leaflets were distributed among easybike riders, CNG riders, bikers and the public.
