The month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will start from January 1 at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) in Purbachal.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to inaugurate the 26th edition of the trade fair.
DITF is going to be held in Purbachal for the first time instead of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
A total of 225 stalls of various business groups, companies and individuals from home and abroad are taking part in the fair this time.
The companies are preparing their stalls in various ways to make them attractive and aesthetic.
The workers are busy making the stalls attractive especially the outside of stalls. Some of the stalls were decorated with painting woods and some others were decorated with glass.
In this regard, the officials of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) said that some changes have been made in the layout of the fair center.
According to EPB officials, 225 stalls have been set up although the capacity is more than that. The stalls have been set up keeping enough space from one stall to another keeping the Corona situation in mind. There are 24 premium stalls inside.
