Talking to Sugandha Point on the beach, Rahul Naina, a couple from Malibagh in Dhaka, complained that due to not getting a room, they paid extra money to stay in a hotel in Kalatali. At the same time, the tourist couple complained that the food was being charged too much.
Nurul Islam, Rafiq, Rashed, Sohail from Dumuria in Khulna said that they came to Cox's Bazar for vacation. It feels so good here. I bathed in the sea with my friends. However, we have been charged extra for the food.
Mazharul Haque Manna, Chief Executive Officer of the private tourism organization Pragya Bela, said that it is very good to travel to Sona Dia with a group. We had a great time. But since there is no passenger trawler or speedboat directly from Cox's Bazar with Sonadia Island, we had to travel with extra fare.
Spitboat drivers do not keep commitments. I talked to them somehow while staying in Dhaka. After coming here again, seeing extra tourists, they demanded extra money from us. The administration should stop these harassments. If not, the tourists will not come to Cox's Bazar and go elsewhere.
Abul Kashem Shikder, President of the Hotel Hotel Guest House Owners Association said, We are trying to give maximum to the tourists. Every hotel is told not to charge international fares.
Raja Shah Alam, Acting President of Hotel Owners Association, said that the rent of our hotel is to be determined. Many also book online. There is no possibility of charging extra rent.
Naimul Haque Chowdhury Tutul, President of Cox's Bazar Hotel Restaurant Owners Association, said that the prices have been fixed according to the food list in all the hotels of our association. There are many hotels outside of our conglomerate, they may charge more for food.
Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police Cox's Bazar Region Md. Zillur Rahman said that many tourists have come to Cox's Bazar due to continuous holidays. Tourist police members are working to ensure the safety of tourists. Additional security measures have been taken. Patrolling has been intensified at tourist spots. In addition, security has been monitored by installing towers on the beach.
Newbie Deputy Commissioner of Cox's Bazar Muhammad Shaheen Imran said that the administration has kept a watchful eye so that no one can harass the tourists coming to Cox's Bazar.
Several executive magistrate teams of the district administration are on duty at the beach and surrounding areas. If there is no additional rent or tourists, they are taking action immediately.

facilities for the tourists coming to Cox's Bazar.
