Popular Tollywood actress Kaushani Mukherjee is going to appear in a Bangladeshi film this time. She is coming to Dhaka on September 26 for this. In the movie 'Piya Re', she will be seen opposite to Shanto Khan, the new face of Bengladesh.
Directed by Pujan Majumder, the film is being produced by Shanto Khan's father, Selim Khan, founder of Shapla Media.
Producer Selim Khan said that apart from Shant Khan and Kaushani Mukherjee, the film will also feature two veteran actors from Kolkata, Rajatava Dutta and Kharaj Mukherjee. He also said that a work permit has been obtained from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to bring foreign artists to work in the country's film industry.
Earlier, Kaushani Mukherjee had completed the shooting of two movies in Kolkata produced by Shapla Media. Bonny Sengupta has acted opposite her in those two movies directed by Shamim Ahmed Roni. Two of the movies are awaiting release.
