Land service week was inaugurated at Chatmohar Upazila in Pabna on Saturday.
Chatmohar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Reduanul Halim inaugurated the service week in front of the office of the Assistant Commissioner (Land) in the Upazila. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mehedi Hassan Shakil, Nazir Babul Uddin, Surveyor Ishak ali, Mutation Assistant Mahbub Hassan, Peshkar Mizanur Rahman and others attended the inauguration programme.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) said land development tax management, e-mutation management, wetland management, mutation review case management have been hundred percent digitalized in the Upazila in 2023-24 fiscal year.
Land development tax of Tk 1.5 crore has been collected until May 1 this year. Moreover, Tk 12 lakhs have been collected from vested properties and 650 miscellaneous cases have been settled. The Upazila has been declared free from homelessness and landlessness. The applicants were given DCR and Khatian after the end of the inauguration
