Freshly announced at NYCC, it has been confirmed that Titans season 4 will premiere in November, kicking off the season with a double episode debut.

The two-episode premiere of Titans season 4 officially has a release date. Titans, a DC television series based on the Teen Titans, first debuted in October 2018. The series was quickly renewed for seasons 2 and 3, though the development of season 3 was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Filming for Titans season 4 began earlier this year in February, and concluded in late September.

As it has been roughly a year since Titans season 3 came to a close, there has been much anticipation and curiosity surrounding the upcoming episodes. Some upheaval at HBO Max - particularly surrounding its DC properties - has led to some uncertainty regarding Titans' future beyond season 4. Luckily, it so far looks like the newest installment will feature some major DC storylines, locations, and characters. Titans season 3 didn't have much of a cliffhanger, but it did leave the series with plenty of room to forge a new future. Now, finally, fans have an idea of when that future will get underway.

At the Titans New York Comic-Con panel (where Screen Rant was in attendance), the release date for season 4 was announced. Titans season 4 will premiere on Thursday, November 3, with 2 episodes releasing on the same day. Season 4 is slated to have a total of 12 episodes, making it slightly shorter than seasons 2 and 3. A spooky teaser accompanied the announcement, which can be seen above.

Throughout the filming of season 4, Titans cast members have given fans an idea of what they can expect from the upcoming season. Set photos confirmed that the Titans will move from Gotham to its sister city Blüdhaven, which will allow for much more Nightwing/Dick Grayson storytelling, alongside a stop in Metropolis. It was also revealed that actor Joseph Morgan will be portraying Brother Blood in Titans season 4, and that Lost alum Titus Welliver will be appearing as Lex Luthor. Season 4 will also follow the Church of Blood, a supernatural cult helmed by Brother Blood. In many ways, the new episodes will expand on the show's DC lore, which comes after Titans season 3 dug into plenty of Batman-adjacent elements.

Alongside the darker aspects of season 4, Titans has also teased a "long-awaited romance," which many fans are hoping will be between Nightwing and Starfire. With some iconic villains being introduced along with arcs and plot points from the comics, this upcoming season is already shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. The first two episodes of Titans season 4 will premiere on HBO Max in a little under a month.
