The historic 2-0 series victory over Pakistan in Rawalpindi has not only cemented Bangladesh's position in the ICC World Test Championship points table but has also significantly boosted the rankings of several key players.

Litton Das, who played a pivotal role in rescuing Bangladesh from a precarious position in the first innings, has ascended to a career-best 15th position in the batting rankings. His 138-run knock, coupled with a valuable 165-run partnership with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, was instrumental in Bangladesh's victory.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who contributed significantly with both bat and ball, has also made substantial gains. His crucial 78-run innings and five-wicket haul in the first innings have propelled him up the rankings in both batting and bowling categories.

On the other side of the coin, Joe Root's twin centuries against Sri Lanka at Lord's have further solidified his position at the top of the batting charts. The England captain, who scored 143 and 103 in the two innings, has extended his lead over Kane Williamson to 63 rating points.

Other notable movers in the batting rankings include Darryl Mitchell of New Zealand, Steve Smith of Australia, and Harry Brook of England. The Indian trio of Rohit Sharma, Yashaswi Jaiswal, and Virat Kohli continue to occupy positions within the top 10.

Gus Atkinson's standout performance at Lord's has earned him the Player of the Match award and a significant rise in the rankings. His maiden first-class century of 118 in the first innings has lifted him 80 places to 96th in the batting ranking, while his five-wicket haul in the second innings has helped him move up 14 places to 28th among bowlers. He has also made significant strides in the all-rounders' list, climbing 48 places to 17th.

On the Sri Lankan side, Kamindu Mendis, Jamie Smith, and Pathum Nissanka have all made positive strides in the batting rankings. Asitha Fernando's impressive bowling figures have earned him a place in the top 10 for the first time.
