A Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Friday that they have decided to play only three ODIs during the upcoming tour of Ireland due to other international commitments.
Bangladesh were expected to play three ODIs and four T20Is against Ireland in May 2020 but the series got postponed due to corona pandemic.
BCB and Cricket Ireland rescheduled their fixture and according to the draft iterinary prepared and agreed upon by both boards, Bangladesh are expected to feature only in three ODIs while they are expected to play the four T20Is during some available slot in 2023.

“We have decided to play only ODI against Ireland in May while we will play the four T20Is in some suitable time in 2023,” a BCB official confirmed Cricbuzz.
“We have got home series against Sri Lanka before the Ireland tour while we are expected to tour West Indies after completing our stint in Ireland and so we have decided to cut off the T20's from the Ireland tour in May 2022,” he added.
As per World Test series second cycle, Sri Lanka is scheduled to play two Test matches against Bangladesh at their own den in May 2020.
Bangladesh will fly to Ireland after completing their home series against Sri Lanka that is scheduled to start from May 29. Cricbuzz understand Bangladesh will fly to West Indies from Ireland after completing the three ODI's for a full fledged tour comprised with two Tests alomg with three ODI's and as many T20’s.
