Tigers roared back strongly in the Test cricket with a series victory over Pakistan after suffering defeat to Sri Lanka early of this year (March-April) at home ground.
Bangladesh in their last five-match Test series won two, drew one and suffered two defeats.
Bangladesh started the 2022-23 season with a (two-match series)) series defeat to India but came to winning ways with defeating Ireland and Afghanistan (one match series against each opoonents) in the next two series in a row in April 2023 and drew two-match series against New Zealand.
But the Tigers suffered defeat two-match series against Sri Lanka in hoem ground in March-April 2024 but made the comeback with a magnificent way with white washing Pakistan.
The series victory against Pakistan will be a huge boost up for the Tigers for their upcoming India tour, will start with the first Test scheduled for September 19.
However, Bangladesh began their Test journey in 2000, played 144 matches, won 21, drew 18 and lost 105.
The Tigers played 74 sereis when won nine, drew 10 and suffered dfeat in rest of the matches.
Bangaldesh won their first Test series by 1-0 against Zimbabwe, in 2004-2005 at home ground and won the first away series against West Indies by 2-0 in 2009-2010.
In 2014nad 2015 Bangaldesh against dfeated Zimbabwe by 3-0 at home and in 2028-19 Bangaldesh again defeated West Indies by 2-0 at home ground and in 2019-2020 defeated Zimbabwe by 1-0 at home and away.
In 2022-23 Bangaldesh defataed Ireland and Afghanistan by 1-0 at hoem ground and just whitewashed Pakistan by 2-0 in 2024 in Auguest-September.
Meanwhile, Bangaldesh yet to any Test matchs against South Africa and India.
