Two opening batters and the bowlers will have to blaze together today in their second match of the ICC Men’s World Cup cricket against reigning Champions England.
Both the opener failed to score a big in the first encounter against Afghanistan in their first match when Tanzid Hasan, the left hander scored 84 off 88-ball in the warm-up match against Sri Lanka at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, India on September 29 managed only five runs off 13 deliveries in his World Cup debut match.
Experienced Litton, who scored 61 runs in the warm up match against Sri Lanka at the same venue, also failed in the opening encounter against Afghanistan, hescored only 13 off 18 deliveries.
The team badly need a big score at the opening stand from themtoday that could pile up a solid foundation.
Tanzidthe young and talented played six ODI matches so far. Now the youngster at his first meeting of England bowlers- Chris Woakes, Sam Curran, Mark Wood, scored 45 runs. So, it can be expected that he earned confidence facing theworld class bowlers.
The right hand batter Litton Das experienced with playing 78 ODI matches and scored 2263 runs. The team expected a lot from him.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz,the one down batter played a beautiful innings in the first match and it is very much expected that he would keep up his scoring spree.

Right arm fast bowler Taskin Ahmed not looked at his peak in the first match when he conceded 32 runs in his six overs spellfor one wicket. Taskin Ahmed played 64 ODIs and took 91 wickets. He is the main man right now of Tigers’ pace attacks, team’s expectation is high from Taskin that he would do something outstanding.
If Mustafizur Rahman could shine with his cutter it would be great for the Tigers when left arm fast medium bowler Mohammad Shoriful Islam, who had two wickets against Afghanistan, if he wouldrepeat his performance todayagainst England, would be a great assistance.
Tigers captain and the world number all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who took three wickets in the first match, if he would remain on his approach along with Mehidy Hassan Miraz, hopefully Tigers could win the match.
Experienced batting all-rounder Mohammad Mahmudullah, who has a century against England, team expect a lot from him today.
In all respects Bangladesh team have enough good performers to throw challenge England, as they have experiences defeating them (England), so today Tigers will not left the match without fight.
