An experienced Bangladesh side was gun downed by a buanch of young cricketers of India in their second T20 match and the Tigers suffered the series defeat before last match to play.
Now there is no excuse left for the losing the matches, as the Tigers could not just uphold their creditability in any of the two matches of the series they played.
It is not at all acceptable the bad playing through and through in the ongoing India tour when the Tigers kept their winless run at T20 and just round the corner to experience white wash in the T20 sereis following the two-match test series.
Dismal show of Tigers’ skills failing them, as they were knocked out in both contentions by India.
From Chennai (two Test matches) up to the scond T20 match in Delhi, there were situations where Bangladsh were on undersides, as the tigers’ bad patch is going on and there is no hope left for them to have some solace with winning the last match to take place in Hyderabad tomorrow.
In the second T20I, when India were 43 for three wickets in the poweerplay and Bangladesh were 41 for as many wickets, then the formers scored 149 runs in 13:3 overs for four wickets and the latters were struggling with 93 runs for seven wickets in same 13:3 overs.
India, in their first 10 overs scored 100 runs and their 121 runs came from next 10 overs, as they set a mammoth target for the visitors, who scored 70 runs in their first 10 overs and their 100 runs came in 14:4 overs, and managed 65 runs from the last 10 overs.
Bangladesh after losing the first match, could not get rid of their awful approach with the expectations they could go after an impressive Pakistan tour and with the previous match in Delhi. But it was bad playing throughout this tour of India. The Tigers have been playing poor cricket, and that is not standard. Tigers’ captain has been though talking about that they have been trying to come out of it and worked in various ways, have been fearlessly doing things but their skills failed when it has been really important, were just excuses. Though he did not specifically said it about Tigers’ batting or bowling department. They could not score 150 in any of their alst two innings, whether batting first or chasing, as their collective form has directly mirrored their captain's. Nazmul Shanto (captain) was dismissed after unimpressive batting display in each innings with 27 off 25 balls in first T20 and 11 off seven balls in the second match.
Tigers’ current bad patch started in September fom their first Test off two-match series in Channai, could not pin down their main errors of thier technique.
So, there is no expectations with the third and final T20 in Hyderabad to start tomorrow, even to have some solace with winning the match.
