While Billionaires staying aloof, poor three-wheeler driver Rajkumar Biswas of Jhenidah has donated all his saving to the Corona fund of Deputy Commissioner of Jhenaidah on Monday.
Rajkumar had been saving the the money for last one decade or more to build a house for his family as the local administration had demolished his only coattage he had been living in by building it on the bank of Navaganga River in Jhenidah town.
Three-wheeler (Gram Bangla autovan) driver Rajkumar Biswas, 50, said he had been living on a government land on the bank of rive Navaganga for last couple of years which was evicted recently. Since then, he has been living at Chaklapara area in the town and hoping to purchase a piece of land for the family members.
He had deposited a amount of Taka 50,000 ( fifty thousand) with the owner of the three-wheeler Khurshid Alam. He took the money back and handed over it to the Deputy Commissioner Saroj Kumar Nath .
When asked, Rajkumar Biswas said no one in the world is safe now and no one is sure how long s/he will survive in this world since the Corona havoc has been grabbing thousands of lives a day worldwide. His hard-earned, small amount might help for treatment or food for any needy person.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saroj Kumar Nath in his reaction said, the contribution of poor three-wheeler driver Rajkumar Biswas indicates that no enough money and education is required to start any good initiative. Willingness to any good work and honesty are all to do nay good job, DC said.
