Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday arrested three more people in a case filed over the devastating fire at Bailey Road that claimed 46 lives.
The arrested are: Zasty Restaurant owner Mohor Ali alias Polash, FUCO restaurant owner Abdullah Al Matin; and building caretaker Nazrul Islam Khan.
Police have, so far, arrested six people in this case.
Special Superintendent of CID Police, Md Anisur Rahman (Dhaka Metro South), confirmed the matter.
He said they arrested the trio during drives in Dhaka’s Bailey Road and Shantinagar areas.
A total of forty-six people were killed after the fire broke out at Green Cosy Cottage building in Bailey Road area of the capital on February 29. --A case has been filed with Ramna Police Station on charge of negligence.
