Three transport workers were killed in a road accident at Ruhuli village under Gobindasi union in Bhuapur upazila of Tangail district on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Asadul, 20, son of late Abdur Rashid, Rakib, 14, son of Ilias and Maqbul, 22, son of Abdul Bashed. The dead were all transport workers.

The accident occurred in the area when they were going to Ruhuli High School from Matikata village on a motorcycle this noon, they lost control and hit a wall on the side of the road and they were seriously injured.
Later, the injured were taken to Bhunapur Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared them dead. The accident happened due to the over speed of the motorcycle, the OC added.
