Initially slated for a December 1, 2023 release, Jeff Nichols' crime drama "The Bikeriders" now hits screens this Friday, June 21st, across 702 cinemas in the UK and Ireland under Universal's distribution.

Led by 2015 Screen Star of Tomorrow Jodie Comer, the film delves into the gritty underworld of the Vandals motorcycle club, exploring themes of violence and transformation. Comer is joined by Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, and Mike Faist in key roles.

After its debut at Telluride last August, "The Bikeriders" has made appearances at esteemed festivals including the BFI London Film Festival and Sydney.

Known for his compelling storytelling, Nichols aims to exceed his previous box-office successes. His highest-grossing film, 2016's "Midnight Special," set a high standard in the UK market, followed by strong performances from "Loving" and "Mud."

Universal expects "The Bikeriders" to leverage the star power of its cast. Comer's recent success with "Prima Facie," Butler's role in "Elvis," and Hardy's blockbuster track record with films like "Dunkirk," "The Dark Knight Rises," and "Inception" contribute to the film's appeal.

As excitement mounts, industry watchers are keen to see if "The Bikeriders" will make a significant impact at the UK-Ireland box office, potentially marking another milestone for Nichols and Universal.
