Newly appointed Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner (DC) Esrat Farzana held a views-exchange meeting with the local journalists of the district on Thursday.
The meeting was held at the hall room of the Deputy Commissioner at noon on the day. Esrat Farzana is the first female Deputy Commissioner of Thakurgaon district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Solaman Ali, Additional District Magistrate Sarder Mostafa Shahin, Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Belayet Hossain, veteran journalist Abdul Latif, SM Jashim Uddin, Golam Sarowar Samrat, Jakir Mostafiz Milu, General Secretary of the press club Firoz Amin Sarkar, Reporters’ Unity General Secretary Asaduzzaman Asad and others were present at the meeting.
The journalists highlighted the contemporary problems at the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner assured them to solve the problems soon.
