Honors-Masters Teachers’ Federation of Private Colleges formed a human chain in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Chapainawabganj town demanding their salaries under monthly pay order (MPO) registration on Tuesday morning.
Nurul Islam, President of the federation, Jamir Uddin, Member Secretary, Irjatun Nesa, Mesbah Uddin, Mamata Mandal, Shahidul Islam and others were present at the time.
The teachers said they formed the human chain to meet their demand of inclusion of 5,500 teachers of Honors-Masters courses working in the private colleges affiliated to the National University in accordance with the Manpower Structure and MPO Policy-2018.
A memorandum was handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Chapainawabganj following the programme.
