The teachers of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University have formed a human chain in protest against the baseless, purposeful and conspiratorial news broadcast on Jamuna Television and online.
On Thursday morning, the teachers under the banner of the Conscious Teachers' Society and the General Teachers' Society formed the human chain in front of the administrative building of the university.
The speakers in the human chain rejected the report and called for more careful dissemination of reports in the future.
The dean of the university's faculty of arts, Prof. Dr. Musharrat Shabnam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Professor Dr. Md. Riyad Hasan, and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall Provost Masum Howlader, Dolan-Champa Hall Provost Laili Akhtar, Proctor Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee, and Student Advisor Dr Mohammad Mehdi Ullah, among others, joined the human chain programme.
