Starting today, the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will begin its July product sales nationwide, including in Dhaka city, for family card holders.
The announcement came via a press release on Sunday (July 7), detailing subsidised sales of edible oil, lentils, and rice to benefit approximately 1 crore low-income families. Sales will be conducted through authorised dealers at designated shops, coordinated with local administrations.
Each family can purchase up to 2 litres of edible oil, 2 kg of lentils, and 5 kg of rice at affordable rates.
: Tk 100 per litre for oil, Tk 60 per kg for lentils, and Tk 30 per kg for rice. The programme kicks off with an inauguration ceremony at 10 am at Karail T&T Colony Ansar Camp Ground in Banani, led by Mohang Salim Uddin, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce.
