Bangladesh’s pacer Tanjim Hasan will play in the Global Super League for Guyana Amazon Warriors in this five-team T20 tournament.
Global Super League is starting for the first time with five teams will be participated by five countries. The tournament will kick off on November 26 and will be ended on December 7. Along with Guyana, Rangpur Riders from Bangladesh, Lahore Qalandars from Pakistan, England’s Hampshire, Australia’s Victoria are participating in this tournament.
All the matches of the tournament will take place at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. Each team will play each other in round robin league basis of the tournament. After the league phase, top two teams will play the final.
Bangladesh will play full series against West Indies at the same time when Tanjim will play the in the Global Super League. Bangladesh will play two Tests, three ODIs and as many T20Is in their West Indies tour.
The first Test of the series scheduled for November 22. Tanzim, however, is yet to play a Test. Even if he is not in the Test team for this tour, he will have a chance. The ODI series will begin on December 8.
Guyana is likely to be without several West Indies players for the Test series. Shamar Joseph, playing for Guyana, Gurakesh Motid are also expected to be in the Test squad. Tanjim, who has not yet played in any league outside the country, has played 15 T20 matches for the country. He took 20 wickets.
