Md. Tajul Islam has joined as the new Chairman of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC). He is an Additional Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and a member of the 11th batch of the BCS (Administration) cadre.
Prior to joining as BRTC chairman, he was an Additional Secretary (Administration) at the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. For a long time he held various important posts in the field administration, Ministry of Education, Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training and Ministry of Agriculture.
