In Kishoreganj, the Nagarik Odhikar Surakkha Mancha is holding one program after another with the occupied of Narsunda river.
Following this, a symbolic hunger strike was held under the banner of Nagarik Odhikar Surakkha Mancha at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Chattar on Tuesday morning demanding eviction of illegal occupants.
Convener of the Nagarik Odhikar Surakkha Mancha Sheikh Selim Kabir, Progressive Leader Anol Chakraborty Kanu, Junaidul Islam and others spoke on the symbolic fast.
The speakers said that the boundaries of Narsunda river have to be demarcated as per CS records.
