A workshop entitled Hands-on Training on Statistical Computing with R Programming for Advanced Users was held Shahjalal University of Science and Technology(SUST).
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Farid Uddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest at IQAC building on Wednesday. Professor of Forestry and Environmental Science Dr. Mohammad Abu Said Arefin Khan was present as a resource person.
In a brief speech at that time, the Vice-Chancellor said that our university is unique in education and research in Bangladesh. In order for the teachers of this university to publish research articles in the world-renowned research journals, it is necessary for the teachers to become proficient in using modern technology. Through this organization, teachers can contribute to research by becoming proficient in R-programming.
He also said that infrastructural and other initiatives have been taken to get a better position at the international level in the ranking. Singapore National University's ranking expert professor is currently recruiting for this university. We will move forward with everyone in the coming days.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Kabir Hossain and Treasurer Professor Amina Parveen was present as a special guest at the event. IQAC director Professor Dr. Mohammad Mohsin Aziz Khan presided over the event and conducted by IQAC Additional Director Dr. Md. Mahbubul Hakim and Additional Director Ishrat Ibn Ismail and teachers of various departments were present.
