The 48th national school, madrasa and technical summer sports competition completed at Ishwardi of Pabna.
The tournament concluded on Wednesday afternoon by playing a final football match at Pakshi Railway Field in Ishwardi, Pabna. The game consisted of football, handball, kabaddi and swimming competition. Boys compete for football and swimming, while boys and girls participated in handball and kabaddi.
The competitio opened on September 6. Ishwardi Upazila Secondary Education Office organized these competitions.
In the football final, Ishwardi Sara Marwari School and College defeated Rupur Boys High School in 1-0 goals. Tanmoy, a student of 10th grade became the man of the match.
After the game, discussion meetings and prize distribution ceremony were held. Ishwardi Upazila Executive Officer Ahmed Hossain Bhuiyan presided over the meeting. Upazila chairman Nuruzzaman Biswas was the chief guest and Pakshi Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Ahsan Ullah Bhuiyan, Upazila Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Khan, Atiya Ferdous Kakli, Pakshi Union Awami League president Habibul Islam and Upazila Secondary Education Officer spoke as special guests.
Officials of the Upazila administration's offices, heads of different educational institutions, teachers and students were present. In addition, a large number of visitors came to the field to watch the football final. Along with football, prizes were distributed among the winners in handball, kabaddi and swimming competitions at the award giving ceremony on Wednesday.
