During the 2021 Game Awards, Rocksteady Studios revealed a gameplay trailer for ‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’, and the trailer showed that Superman isn’t the only member of the League gamers will go up against. While previous trailers have hinted at who Suicide Squad’s true villain is, this new trailer pretty much confirms it. The gameplay trailer displays characters previously unseen in footage from the game, as well as demonstrating how the game will actually play.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League sees gamers taking on the roles of King Shark, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot on a mission from Amanda Waller to kill brainwashed members of the Justice League. The game will play from a third-person perspective and can be played solo or in a team through an online co-op., Task Force X will take on multiple members of the Justice League, with plenty of characters already confirmed for the ‘Suicide Squad’ game. As gamers roam an open-world Metropolis, they are sure to run into iconic favorites from across DC’s vast catalog of characters, both good and “evil.”
The new gameplay trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, posted to YouTube by GameSpot, reveals that gamers will be fighting The Flash as well as Superman, and confirms that the Justice League members are indeed under Brainiac’s mind control. Throughout the trailer, The Flash taunts and attacks Task Force X, with Amanda Waller reminding the team that they are under strict orders to kill him. Brainiac’s presence is seen and felt through machines and enemy is bearing his signature purple glow, as well as what are appears to be a massive ship in the shape of Brainiac’s head. While the trailer for ‘Suicide Squad’ only gave brief looks at evil Flash, it seems that he will be a recurring enemy throughout the game, and is likely to be involved in some kind of boss fight. - Screen Rant
