In Bishnupur union of Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria, some local families are busy making delicious Lali molasses from sugarcane juice. This winter Lali molasses is a popular food of most of the people here.
Hundreds of liters of delicious Lali molasses are being made from the juice of buffalo threshing sugarcane by placing an iron grinder in the empty space next to the house for almost three consecutive months in winter.

Talking to the farmers, it is learned that Lali is being produced in seven mills in Bishnupur and Dulalpur. This year sugarcane has been cultivated in about 100/120 bighas of land in this area.
Every afternoon the juice drinkers from far and wide are rushing to this area with their families to drink the juice.
