Dhaka University (DU) has announced the second subject nomination list for the first-year undergraduate students in the academic year 2023-24. Subject-nominated students can enable or disable auto migration till May 18.
On May 14, Dhaka University authority declared a circular on the admission website of the university. The students who have got the subject nomination, can avail or avoid the auto migration till 3.00 pm on May 18.
The notification further states that for a subject allotted at any one stage (even if the student applying for quota gets subject allotted on merit) the student must do two tasks to participate in the subject allotment/admission process of the next stage.
The first is to collect a part of the admission and other fees applicable to the allotted subject (at the following rates) online within the specified time and collect the receipt thereof. This advance amount will be reconciled at the time of admission and deposit of other fees.
If the subject of the student is finally allotted (if the first subject of the preference order is allotted or if the student is interested in studying the assigned subject and stops the automigration in the next stages) 500 taka will be paid during the next stage subject allotment while waiting for the next subjects according to the order of preference through migration.
The second is the receipt of advance payment (two pages) and the original grade sheets/mark sheets of higher secondary/equivalent and secondary/equivalent examinations should be submitted by participating in the interview on the scheduled date mentioned in the notice of the concerned unit.
