This Durga Puja, renowned composer Samarjit Roy teams up with celebrated singer Subhamita Banerjee for a new duet titled "Tomar Jonno Roddur" (Sunshine for You). The song features heartfelt lyrics by Sanjay Roy, with Samarjit handling the music and composition.
Set to release on October 6, "Tomar Jonno Roddur" will be available on Samarjit’s verified Facebook page and YouTube channel. The chorus includes talented students from his music school, Surchhaya, enriching the piece.
Subhamita expressed her excitement, saying, "I'm thrilled to share this duet. I hope listeners support it like they have with our past projects."
Samarjit added, "Collaborating with Subhamita is an honour. She loved the composition from the start, and her involvement makes it special." He also noted that this is the first time his students will be featured in a chorus, enhancing the song's charm.
