SUB signs MoU with Augmedix

State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and Augmedix Bangladesh Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to model students into skilled manpower through appropriate training and ancillary activities.

Rashed M Noman, country director of Augmedix Bangladesh Limited, and Abu Taher Khan, director of career development centre at SUB, signed the MoU on behalf of their own organizations on Saturday, said a SUB press release.

Prof M Shahjahan Meena, vice chancellor of SUB, was present as the chief guest at the MoU signing ceremony. 

Augmedix Bangladesh Limited, a multinational organization, has been operating in Bangladesh since 2015, for hiring people to work as online medical scribes and similar positions, primarily for the San Francisco-based US market. 

On the other hand, State University of Bangladesh has been conducting various programs including training, seminars, workshops, etc, in order to make the students skilled in the relevant areas, including English language proficiency.

Both sides hoped that through signing of the MoU, the activities would find increased mobility. 

Moreover, it would also be able to play a vital role in promoting qualified educated youths in employment sector of Bangladesh. 

Md Nazrul Islam and Farhana Sharmin, deputy registrars and senior officials of Augmedix Bangladesh Limited and SUB attended the signing ceremony of the MoU.
