Coordinator of anti-discriminatory student movement Md Rafiul Alam Antor said the students are working to develop Ishwardi upazila in a new way and they need the assistance of mass people for that.
Coordinator Rafikul Islam, a student of BBA in East West University, said that in a press conference of students held at Ishwardi Press Club on Sunday.
He said the students are working for the country. They need help from the people for that. He said if we want live our life in a new way, we will f ace various problems as we have lived our life in different way for the last 16 years. However, we have to overcome these problems and move forward.
Coordinator Antor said in the written speech that as there are no universities in Ishwardi, students of Pabna Edward College and University participated in the movement. They were threatened in various ways because of that. Still they are working to keep the situation normal. No opportunist will be able to work under the banner of anti-discriminatory student movement, he said. He requested the journalists to publish their activities in the media.
Tasrim Mahbub Prapti, Md Ahik Molla, Asiful Islam Jibon, Fazle Rabbi Siam and other students were present with him at the press conference.
After the press conference, they announced the names of nine coordinators of anti-discriminatory student movement who will play a role in developing Ishwardi upazila in a new way. The nine coordinators are Tasnim Mahbub Prapti, Md Asif Ullah, Md Shaon Hossain, Md Rauful Islam Antor, Zarin Tasnim Simi, Fazle Rabbi Siam, Md Ibrahi Rahman, Asfil Islam Zarif and Asaduzzaman Rakib.
