As information technology has both good and bad aspects, students need to make its proper use checking the misuse. Awareness needs to be created in the social, political and educational systems to develop students as skilled citizens.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni made the remarks after attending the inter-religious dialogue program at Hajiganj Upazila Parishad hall room in Chandpur on Friday.

"If we want to move forward, we have to use science and technology in the education system," she said.
The Education Minister also said, “What we are trying to do in the new curriculum in the education system is to teach values along with knowledge and skills. If students are not taught honesty and humanity, they will not become worthy citizens.”
State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan, Dinajpur-1 constituency MP Manoranjan Shil Gopal, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religion Munim Hasan, Superintendent of Police Milon Mahmud and Additional District Magistrate Nasir Uddin Sarwar were present at the time, among others.
