Students get opportunity to correct registration information thru e-SIF

Published : 17 Aug 2024 09:35 PM

Students of classes six, eight, and nine from the year 2023 will have a chance to correct their registration information. The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is giving this opportunity to fix any mistakes and add students who were left out of the registration.

This correction process starts today, August 18, and continue until September 7. During this time, students in eighth and ninth grades must correct any wrong information by filling out an online electronic student information form (e-SIF). Sixth-grade students who were dropped from the system can also be re-registered.

The Dhaka Education Board made this decision because of requests from head teachers and parents. They want to make sure that all students can continue their education, even if they were mistakenly dropped from the registration. This chance is available to students of approved and recognized lower secondary, secondary, and affiliated secondary and higher secondary educational institutions under the Dhaka Board.

The process includes correcting and adding information for students in classes eight and nine without any late fees. Sixth-grade students who were dropped can also be re-registered. However, it is very important for schools to complete this process within the given time. If the registration is not finished on time, the head of the institution will be held responsible.

Students who were dropped after their sixth-grade registration in 2023 will not be able to register for seventh and eighth grades unless they complete this process. The Dhaka Board urges all schools to ensure that the registration is done correctly so that no student is left behind.
