Banshkhali upazila administration, in collaboration with the Anti-Corruption Commission office, Chattogram distributed educational materials among the students of various schools in Banshkhali upazila of the district.
Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee president and tax lawyer Lion Shekhar Dutta presided over the distribution of educational materials held at the Upazila Officers Club hall on Friday morning.
Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, Member of Parliament of Chittagong-16 (Baskhali) Constituency as the chief guest. Upazila Executive Officer Md. Saiduzzaman Chowdhury and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mohammad Mamun were present as special guests in the event. Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee general secretary and madrasa teacher Md Riazul Karim conducted the event. Upazila Women Vice Chairman Rehena Akhtar Kazemi, Upazila Agriculture Officer Abu Chalek, Sadhanpur Rural Development High School Principal Khokon Chakraborty and Upazila Olama League President Maulana Akhter Hossain were present and spoke as special guests. Speaking to the students, the speakers said, "There is no alternative to education in building a developed country and nation." So well-educated must be educated. We should play a role in the progress of the country's development.
