The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has directed the students to write oaths to pay homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and present those on the walls of educational institutions as part of the national programme for collecting and administering hundreds of oaths on the occasion of Sheikh Russel Day.
Every school and college student will write an oath paper to pay homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and turn Bangladesh into the ideal country of Bangabandhu's dream. And by selecting the best 100 oaths, each organization will present it on Sheikh Russel wall posting.

An order has recently been issued by DSHE with this instruction.
The order also said the students of all educational institutions will write an oath each with the aim of turning Bangladesh into the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu's dream with the spirit of liberation war, patriotism, honesty and humanity.
The oath must be melodious byusing standard words. After writing, students will select an oath through discussion in a group of 15 and submit it to the class teacher. The institution concerned will select the best 100 oaths from among them and present those on Sheikh Russel wall.
