Nabinagar UNO Mohammad Masum handed over a government grant of Tk 50,000 to a meritorious student suffering from cancer in the upazila of Brahmanbaria on Thursday afternoon.
The recipient is Asaduzzaman Sohel, suffering from cancer is an MBA student at Noakhali University of Science and Technology who sought help from the UNO a few months ago.
The UNO personally contacted the Department of Social Services and arranged for the grant. After receiving the check, he personally handed over the check to Sohel
UNO Mohammad Masumsaid, "I feel blessed to be able to provide a little help in the treatment of a meritorious student suffering from cancer."
