An SSC examinee of Al Helal Islami Academy located in Chuadanga town was killed by some youths on the campus of the school on Sunday (November 7).
The deceased was identified as Tonmoy Ahmed Topu, 16, son of Abdul Mazid of Colonypara area in the district town.
According to sources, farewell reception of SSC candidates of the school was going on in the hall room of the school while, Tonmoy went out of the room and stood on the premises of the school. At that time some youths entered the school with sharp weapons. They attacked and injured Tonmoy seriously.

Due to hue and cry participants of the function rushed there and seeing them the attackers left the school premises. The injured boy was sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for treatment where the on-duty doctor Shakil Al Salam declared him dead.
Mohammad Mohsin, Officer-in-Charge of Chuadanga Police Station, said the killing might have occurred due to previous enmity, police investigation is going on in this regard.
