Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner and Wise District Magistrate Shahida Sultana instructed every candidate to abide by the code of conduct in the Muksudpur municipal elections to be held on June 15. The administration has taken all possible measures to ensure smooth and peaceful conduct of the elections. If any candidate violates the code of conduct, the law enforcement will take strict action against them. She further said that for the first time in Muksudpur Municipality of Muksudpur Upazila Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) system voting will be held. There is no chance of corruption here. She called upon the people to go to the polls on June 15 and cast their votes for the candidate of their choice.
On the occasion of Muksudpur Municipality General Election-2022 of Gopalganj District, an exchange meeting was held with the contesting candidates on election code of conduct and law and order on Wednesday at 12 noon at Faruk Khan Auditorium in Muksudpur.
