Following a nearly three-year hiatus, Star Wars has released a poster featuring many of the franchise’s characters to promote the Star Wars Celebration convention’s upcoming return at the end of May. Star Wars Celebration is one of the franchise’s most anticipated events as a convention that brings Star Wars fans from around the world together to celebrate their shared love of the franchise. Celebration treats attendees to meet-and-greets with stars of the franchise, access to exclusive Star Wars merchandise, information about upcoming Star Wars content, and more. The convention moves from location to location around the world and has been confirmed to be taking place in Anaheim, California this year.

As is commonplace for Star Wars Celebration, a poster promoting the event has been released. Since Disney’s acquisition of Star Wars, the Celebration posters have typically featured a variety of characters from the sequel trilogy of films. With Celebration 2022’s poster, however, this is no longer the case. Characters like Rey (Daisy Ridley), Kylo Ren/Ben Solo (Adam Driver), and Finn (John Boyega) are no longer at the franchise’s forefront, as the Celebration 2022 poster reveals.

Revealed via StarWars Celebration, attendees and non-attendees of Star Wars Celebration 2022 can view the new poster highlighting the upcoming convention. Unlike past posters for the event, characters from recent live-action Star Wars media like The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett are front and center in the new poster. Other important characters from Star Wars, such as Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and BB-8 are also featured in the Celebration 2022 poster. The reveal of the poster comes alongside a variety of other merchandise that will be exclusive to Celebration 2022, such as t-shirts and hats to celebrate the twenty-year anniversary of Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones this year. -Screen Rant
