The SSC and HSC exams for 2025 are expected to take place after the two Eids. According to education sources and the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, the SSC exams will likely start in mid-April, while the HSC exams are planned for the last week of June.

Professor Abul Bashar, the controller of examinations for the Dhaka Board, confirmed that the SSC exams will be conducted after Ramadan and the Eid holidays. Ramadan is expected to end in March, with Eid-ul-Fitr likely falling on March 31 or April 1.

As for the HSC exams, Eid-ul-Azha is anticipated to be celebrated on June 7. Professor Bashar noted, “We plan to begin the HSC and equivalent examinations at the end of June after Eid-ul-Azha.”

The SSC exams will cover the full syllabus, while the HSC exams will follow the updated syllabus introduced in 2023. The government aims to maintain this schedule unless significant disruptions occur.

Overall, students and educators are encouraged to prepare for the upcoming exam dates as the education administration finalizes the schedule.
