The registration period for SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational) students under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board has been extended. Students can now complete their registration by September 12. Heads of educational institutions are requested to ensure the registration process is completed within this timeframe.
The Bangladesh Technical Education Board announced this extension through a recent circular. According to the notification, the heads of the concerned institutions must finalize the registration of students admitted in the 2024 academic year. It was also mentioned that this registration schedule will not be extended further, emphasizing the importance of completing the process on time.
The registration fees for each student include Tk 130 as the registration fee, Tk 50 for sports, Tk 15 for Scouts/Girls Guides, Tk 8 for Red Crescent, Tk 7 for Science and Technology, and Tk 30 as the application fee, totaling Tk 240. These fees must be paid through the respective educational institutions. A three-member registration committee must be formed to manage the student registration process. After uploading the students' information online, the committee members must cross-check the data with the admission forms and certificates kept at the institution before finalizing the submission. It is strictly instructed that students should not be involved in the registration process. Institutions must keep a printout of the final list for their records.
The board urges all institutions to follow the guidelines and complete the registration process promptly to avoid any complications.
