To ensure transparency and accountability of the government of Bangladesh, a daylong review workshop was organised to review of SRS and feedback of the Audit Module of the GRP (Government Resource Planning) software of the Bangladesh e-Government ERP Project on Tuesday (October 29) at BCC Conference Room, ICT tower, Agargaon, Dhaka.
Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary of ICT Division, was present as the chief guest at the workshop. Parthapratim Deb, Executive Director of BCC presided over the workshop. Heads of various departments, agencies, stakeholders of the project, BUET's nominated consultant team and Synesis IT were present at the workshop.
With the implementation of the audit module, it will be possible to store all information regarding audit objections and settlements in government offices. Audit objections to be settled quickly with this implementation.
Under the Bangladesh e-Government ERP Pilot Project, a total of nine modules are being developed for the six organizations of the ICT Division and four for the Ministry of Planning. GRP software will be implemented in all ministries / departments and agencies of the Govt. of the Bangladesh later.
The project director Dr. Ashoke Kumer Roy spoke at the workshop and welcomed all representatives of different ministries, departments, organisations who participated in the workshop.
