Popular happy actress, model Srabonti has returned to the country from US for her mother.
She asked everyone to pray for her mother Mahmuda Sultana. She is undergoing treatment at Bardem Hospital in Bogura, Srabonti’s village home.
In Bogra, Srabonti and her elder sister Sabera are currently by her mother’s side. Back in the country, Srabonti is trying to be by her mother’s side all the time. Srabonti said her mother’s condition was not good.
Srabonti said, "There is no comparison of mother in the world. I can’t bear the pain of my mother in front of my eyes. I’m in a lot of trouble. My mother is in a lot of trouble. It is very difficult to endure so much suffering as a daughter. May God give her peace. I pray to God for my mother, may God grant peace to my mother.”
Srabonti’s father Md. Ibrahim Ali passed away in 2005. Srabonti said she has been in the country for three weeks. Srabonti recently acted in the drama ‘Dalim Kumar’ written by Matia Banu Shuku and directed by Nurul Alam Atique, produced by ‘Ekti Tapur Tupur Production’. Mir Sabbir was opposite her in the drama. After that Srabonti was not seen acting anymore. Srabonti used to dance regularly on BTV in 1997/98. That’s when his strong interest in acting grew. Srabonti became the first model in the advertisement of Pepsodent under the direction of Tariq Anam Khan.
As a child, Srabonti made her acting debut in the drama ‘Amar Dudh Ma’ under the direction of the late Nurul Alam Atique. In 1997, Srabonti acted in her first drama in her adulthood in ‘Bhalobasha Tumi’ directed by Matiur Rahman Gazipuri.
