The release of actor, director Taukir Ahmed's upcoming movie titled ‘Sphulingo’ was delayed due to some unavoidable reasons.
Though it was supposed to be released on March 19, it was informed two days ago that the movie will not be released on this date. After more than two years, Taukir was returning with a movie he had directed, but his return was interrupted.
However, the period of restraint stood only one week, the movie ‘Sphulingo’ will be released on March 26 on Independence Day. This information has been informed from the official Facebook page of the movie.
On the occasion of Bangabandhu's birthday March 17, it was said that a special exhibition of the movie ‘Sphulingo’ would be organized at first. A day later, on March 19, the movie will be released in theaters. But suddenly director Taukir Ahmed said that the film ‘Sphulingo’ will not be released on the scheduled day.He did not give any specific reason for postponing the release date of the movie, nor did he say when ‘Sphulingo’ will be released.
However, he said, he will try to release the movie very soon. And so he chose the day of Independence Day to release the movie. The movie has already received clearance from the censor board without any cuts. In other words, no scene of the movie has been censored. Censor board members also praised Taukir Ahmed's film.
The film is being produced by 'Dream Bangladesh Foundation' on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The shooting of the movie started on December 11 last year at Nakshatrabari Resort in Rajendrapur. .The shooting of this movie has been completed in just 23 days.
The central characters in the movie ‘Sphulingo’ are Shamol Mawla, Zakia Bari Momo and Pori Moni are playing the central roles in the movie. Momo is going to act again under the direction of Taukir after a long thirteen years through this film. Earlier she acted in Taukir's movie 'Daruchini Dwip'. Raunak Hasan, Abul Hayat, Mamunur Rashid, Shahidul Alam Sachchu and many others have also acted in other roles.
