Special train reached Cox's Bazar with 600 passengers

The Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar special train reached Cox’s Bazar with more than 600 passengers, including tourists, from Dhaka on Friday.

The train departed with 634 passengers from Dhaka at 11.00pm on Thursday and reached Cox’s Bazar Iconic Railway Station at 8.00am on Friday. Bangladesh Railway Authority decided to operate the special train service in this route as demand of passengers increased. The train will run till October 27.

Station master of Cox’s Bazar Iconic Railway Station Md Golam Rabbani confirmed the matter.

Md Golam Rabbani said Bangladesh Railway Authority decided to run the special train on Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route based on the passenger demand. The train departed from Dhaka at 11:00pm and reached Cox’s Bazar Iconic Station at 8:00am.

After one-day break, the special train-1 will leave Dhaka at 11.00pm on October 26 and will reach Cox's Bazar at 7.00am on the next day. On October 27, special train-2 will leave Cox's Bazar at 1.40pm for Dhaka and arrive at 10.00am, said the Station Master.
