On Monday under the direction of Dinajpur District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Anwar Hossain BPM, PPM (Bar) and overall management of TI (Administration) ATM Touhidul Islam of District Traffic Department, special campaigns of the project were conducted to ensure the use of helmets by motorcyclists and riders in Dinajpur district. The campaign was held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
During the two-hour special operation, a total of 225 cases and fines of Tk 8 lakh 29 thousand were imposed in the district. All raids were in association with Dinajpur Kotwali police station led by TI Sarkar Mohammad Tariqul Islam 11 cases and fines of 36 thousand taka, 14 cases and fines of 48 thousand taka under the leadership of Sergeant Polly Rani Roy, 7 cases and fines of 28 thousand taka under the leadership of Sergeant M, B, K Imran Rabbani Taka, 18 cases and fines of 60 thousand taka under the leadership of Sergeant Mostafika Afrin in Biral Upazila, 19 cases and fines of 58 thousand taka under the leadership of Birampur Upazila TI Mo Hasan Askari Ghoraghat Upazila Sergeant Md Nurnabi Chowdhury led 12 cases and fined Tk. Sergeant Mohammad Hanif Mandal led 23 cases and fined Tk 79,000, Sergeant Mohammad Shahidul Islam led 20 cases and fined Tk 71,000 in Fulbari upazila and Bochaganj upazila led by Mohammad Shafiul Alam 16 cases.
And fines of Tk 54,000, 18 cases and fines of Tk 51,000 under the leadership of Chirirbandar Upazila Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, 16 cases and fines of Tk 48,000 under the leadership of Hakimpur Upazila TSI Mohammad Ohedur Rahman and 15 cases and fines were given for 55 thousand taka under the leadership of Sergeant Mohammad Rakibul Islam in Parbatipur Upazila.
