Welfare activities can save the young generation from evil activities when a portion of the young forces were involved in many heinous activities. The guardians can play a role to refrain their children from any unfair activities so that they might be grown as good citizens and play role in nation building works as desired by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This was soughed in a discussion meeting following distribution of financial assistance among some ailing and distressed people at Hatfazilpur Bazer in Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah recently. Raktadata Sangha, a voluntary organization playing role in blood donation and other emergency health services organized the event.
Presided over by eminent social worker elderly Abdul Karim Biswas, Raktadata Sangha founder and chief advisor Habibur Rahman, advisor Farhana Ruly, Mobarak Ali, Shawkat Biswas, Khondaker Golam Faruque among others spoke. Khondakwer Shahin facilitated the event.
The speakers said due to airing of various types of foreign culture, availability of smart phones, even to the minors and ignorance of the guardians have been demoralizing the young generation and they have been leaning towards a dark work instead their academic education. It has been damaging the potentials of our future generation.
The guardians should engage their children in welfare activities and monitor their movement so that they could be grown as true nationals as desired by Sheikh Hasina.
